The Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court today filed a prosecutor's statement against Victor Katan, who is suspected of shooting to death Ofir Hisdai in a Ramla parking lot two weeks ago. His remand was extended for another four days.
Police investigation revealed that while the suspect and his 68-year-old wife parked their vehicle, Hisdai came with his vehicle and addressed the suspect's wife, noting that their car was parked on two parking spaces. The suspect's wife replied, and a physical confrontation ensued.
According to the suspicion, in response to a confrontation between the two, the suspect pulled out his gun and fired at Hisdai, striking him and fatally wounding him. He was sent to Assaf Harofeh hospital where his death was determined.
