Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein recalled the expulsion of 8,000 Jews from Gush Katif on Tisha B'Av.
"The State of Israel has done one of the most serious moral wrongs, today, 14 years ago, with the expulsion of 8,000 Jews from their homes. Not only injustice, but also a security blunder from which are threatened hundreds of thousands of civilians from the Gaza Strip to Netanya."
