The Agudat Yisrael Council of Torah Sages issued a letter of support on Thursday for Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman against him, following word on Tuesday that the police would recommend indicting him for bribery and breach of trust.
The letter, published in the haredi-religious newspapers Hamodia' and Hamevasser, cited Rabbi Litzman for "doing his work with loyalty and dedication for many years," including being "dedicated to carry out the instructions of the sages...."
