Tiberias Mayor Ron Cobi has petitioned the Supreme Court against Interior Minister Aryeh Deri, seeking that Deri appoint city council members from the civil service and cancel his decision to reinstate members of the council whose terms had expired.
On Monday, the justices rejected a similar petition.
