On the fifth anniversary of soldier Hadar Goldin's falling and kidnapping in Gaza, his mother, Leah Goldin, said this morning in an interview with Galei Tzahal radio: "Something has cracked in our trust."
Goldin explained, "When you are promised at the beginning it seems the most logical. After five years you realize that the prime minister does not return soldiers - just explains that it is not possible. In the five years since the kidnapping of Hadar, I learned that the state has abandoned my son and [fellow soldier] Oron Saul. Not because they can't return [them], but because it is not among the priorities of anything."
