A 56-year-old pedestrian was critically injured on Monday night when he was hit by a car near the Anata checkpoint in northern Jerusalem. He was evacuated by Magen David Adom paramedics to the Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus.
Police suspect that the accident was a hit-and-run and are searching for the driver.
