National Security Advisor John Bolton of the United States said, late Wednesday evening, that the US will allow Russia, China and a number of European countries to continue nuclear cooperation for civilian purposes with Iran, despite the sanctions imposed on the country.
Bolton emphasized that the US is monitoring these nuclear activities very closely, adding that it was only a 90-day extension to the relief granted to these countries with the renewal of sanctions on Iran.
