A fire broke out during the predawn hours of Thursday morning at the Selena Club in Tiberias. Five fire crews from the Tiberias station were called to battle the blaze.
No people were present but there was very heavy damage. The background to the incident is criminal. Police arrested a 20-year-old Tiberias resident on suspicion of involvement in setting fire to the club. The suspect will be brought to the Nazareth Magistrate's Court this morning for a remand hearing.
