Following the shooting incident near the synagogue in Miami, the Jewish Agency said that the circumstances indicated a clear suspicion of an anti-Semitic hate crime and that its people were closely monitoring the results of the investigation.
Jewish Agency Chairman Isaac Herzog addressed the students at Jewish schools in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he is currently visiting, and said that Jewish Agency representatives are in close contact with representatives of the community in Miami and that he personally believes this is an anti-Semitic event.
