Danny Danon, Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, responded on Twitter Monday afternoon to plans by Muslim United States Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib to visit Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
Danon said, "Given their habit of rewriting history to justify anti-Israel sentiment, I suggest they visit the City of David to educate themselves about the ancient Jewish connection to Jerusalem & the land of Israel.
