Minister of Culture and Sports Miri Regev commented on Israel's under-20 basketball team winning the European championship for the second consecutive time.
“The players of the under-20 team showed determination and a fighting spirit throughout the close and tense game and made sure that the cup would remain at home and that we will be crowned European champions for the second time in a row. Congratulations to Ariel Beit-Halahmi and the professional team for managing the game wisely and instilling the fighting spirit among the boys," she said.
"Thank you wonderful boys for moving an entire country for a whole week," Regev added.
