Attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir, one of the leaders of the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) Party, has welcomed Ayelet Shaked's announcement that she would head the new right-wing party, saying ""We welcome the connection and believe that there will soon be bigger connections, and the task now is to prevent the establishment of a leftist government, in which [hostile Arab Knesset members] Ayman Odeh and Ahmad Tibi will be ministers."
Ben-Gvir added, "In any case, it is clear that there is no disagreement in the political system today: without Otzma Yehudit receiving the places [on the ballot] that it deserves, a leftist government could arise, Heaven forbid."
