A truck driver in his forties was killed Thursday morning after being crushed between two trucks on Derech Shlomo Street in Tel Aviv.
An initial investigation by the police indicates that the truck driver apparently got out of his vehicle and approached another truck. For a reason that is now being investigated by the police, the truck from which he got down began to slide backwards and crush him. The Magen David Adom emergency service tried to save his life but was forced to pronounce his death. Police are directing traffic because of the resulting congestion.
