Former Minister Ayelet Shaked told Israeli public radio, Thursday morning, that she was saddened by the resignation of former Labor chairwoman Shelly Yechimovich from politics. Shaked explained "Enemies and those with whom there are disagreements are needed in politics. Shelly and I really represent two different poles on the economic front. Politcs demand a very big personal sacrifice."
Shaked added, "I have not encountered a glass ceiling because I am a woman. I will not encounter it in the future. I came in first place in the primaries of a national religious party and it apparently did not bother anyone. You have to be patient about this. I have already proved that a woman can do anything."
