Yisrael Beytenu chairman MK Avigdor Liberman responded to coalition agreements that were signed between Likud and other parties before the dissolution of the 21st Knesset and were revealed on Kan 11 News on Monday evening. The agreements stipulate, among other things, that there would be no work on the Sabbath without coordination with a representative of the Chief Rabbinate.

"We are not surprised by the exposure of the coalition agreements between the Likud and the haredi parties. This is the tip of the iceberg of the agreements of surrender that Netanyahu signed with the haredim, agreements that were supposed to crush the status quo in the State of Israel and lead us to a halakhic state," said Liberman.

"Slowly we discover the scandal that would have cost the taxpayer billions of shekels. Only a broad national government will stop the extortion of the haredim prevent a halakhic government," he added.
