The police and the Transportation Ministry inspected yesterday the quality and safety of buses used to transport children to summer camps in Holon.
42 buses were inspected. 12 buses were removed from the road due to different safety defects, 8 drivers received traffic reports for driving a defective vehicle, and 19 bus vehicle licenses were confiscated for up to 48 hours in order to correct the defects identified. A small bus was taken straight to the garage over serious defects which did not allow for its further travel on the road.
