US National Security Adviser John Bolton said on Monday, “There is no reason for Iran to increase its enrichment unless it’s part of an effort to reduce the breakout time to produce nuclear weapons.”
Bolton’s comments follow the Islamic Republic’s announcement that it had exceeded the amount of enriched uranium permitted under the 2015 nuclear deal with world powers.
