The Israel Defense Forces have will take steps to improve safety, following the April death of candidate for defense service Ron Eliyahu Oved was killed and others were injured when a bus went into a tent where they sat during the classification and consolidation of a paratroopers brigade.
The steps are the results of and IDF investigation into the incident. Investigations by the Israel Police (regarding the responsibility of the bus driver) and the Military Police Investigation Unit have not yet been completed.
