Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev referred this morning to the conviction of Sara Netanyahu in a plea bargain.

In an interview with Army Radio, Regev said that she "strengthens her because the mountain gave birth to a mouse. She went through a hunting trip for four years, went through hell and hurtful statements. What was not said about her? Yesterday I met her and she told me she paid a heavy personal price, including on the plea bargain."

Regev added: "She is not a criminal offender, she has nothing to do with the criminal aspect. Even the judge said so, She took on something that was not hers just to end it. To blame her for ordering food for official visits to the prime minister's residence is absurd."
