Four suspects were arrested for questioning this morning and three others were detained on suspicion of involvement in bribery, fraud, and breach of trust. Among the detainees was a local official and employee.
According to suspicions, the suspects allegedly received bribes in return for diverting tenders under the Authority's responsibility, as well as assisting in granting illegal building permits.
The suspects were brought for questioning and in the afternoon will be brought as required from an investigative standpoint, to a hearing in the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Letzion.
