Hundreds of parents appealed Thursday to Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan (Likud) requesting that he work to cancel the gay pride parade expected to take place in Tel Aviv tomorrow. In the letter, the parents point out the various dangers facing the youth in the parade - drug abuse, sexual harassment, and other dangers.
"The severe data revealed in the media about the events of the gay pride parades in recent years shows a very gloomy picture that indicates massive consumption of hard drugs among the participants, and even more so among the youth, which led to very serious medical conditions and even death," the parents wrote.
