A fire that broke out Tuesday on Shlomo Musayof Street in the Bukharan neighborhood of Jerusalem was the result of children playing with matches in a wood storage room that was built unsafely on the top floor of the building, according to an investigation by the Firefighting Services.

The fire spread to the roof where gas containers had been placed in a pirated manner and there was a strong fear that they would explode and cause great damage. A Firefighting Services statement noted, "The firefighters who came to the site entered the fire while burning heavy wooden beams from the improvised and dangerous warehouse, fell on and around them."
