The Magen David Adom (Red Star of David) emergency medical organization announced on Tuesday that 45 people have been treated by its personnel for snake bites since the beginning of April, one of whom died in hospital, two were evacuated in serious condition and five in moderate condition.
In the same period last year, MDA teams treated 30 people who had been BIT, including two who were in critical condition and two in moderate condition.
