According to the Rabbinical Courts' administration, there was a five-percent increase in the number of couples who divorced in Israel through the rabbinical courts in 2018. 11,145 couples divorced in 2018, compared with 10,661 couples who divorced in 2017.

The administration's special unit on the issue of permitting agunot to remarry was able to obtain a divorce for 149 women whose husbands disappeared in Israel and abroad.
