Following the dismissal of Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, MK Karin Elharar (Blue and White) asked Attorney General Mandelblit to instruct Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to appoint a new justice minister immediately.
"In light of the circumstances, leaving the justice portfolio in the hands of the Prime Minister is impossible, and his delay in appointing raises difficult questions and even of corruption and constitutes a mortal blow to the rule of law," wrote Elharar.
