Minister Gilad Erdan is seriously considering accepting an offer by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to be appointed ambassador to the United Nations, according to Channel 12 News.
Danon is expected to complete his post at the UN headquarters in New York in the next two weeks, the end of his children's school year in the United States. During the last term, Erdan's Public Information Office coordinated the handling of the struggle against the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions organizations, some of which dealt with diplomatic aspects that had previously been exclusively under the control of the Foreign Ministry.
