A resident of Hod Hasharon entered Qalqiliya last night to shop. According to him, two suspicious men forced him out of the car and fled the scene with his vehicle.
He was transferred to Israel and interrogated by Israel Police on suspicion of violating a military order prohibiting entry of Israelis into Area A, and was released under restrictive conditions at the end of his interrogation.
"Despite the danger inherent in the entry of Israelis into Area A, and despite the fact that before entering any area defined as Area A, there are signs warning that entering the area constitutes a security and dangerous offense, many enter the Palestinian territories, some in good faith and others through lack of knowledge, endangering themselves and the safety and well-being of our forces who must enter to rescue them," the police say.
