A fire broke out Thursday morning on the fourth floor of a building on Herzog Street in Akko.
Firefighting teams are searching to rule out the possibility of people being trapped in the blaze and are working to extinguish the fire.
The owner of the apartment and her son fled the apartment before the forces arrived, and are being treated for light injuries.
