Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is consulting with his aides on the possibility of publicly pledging not to sit with Yisrael Beytenu Chairman Avigdor Liberman in the next government, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
In so doing, Netanyahu will try to cause Liberman significant electoral damage, so that he will not be able to assure his voters that he will join a right-wing government.
