The Jewish Press reported that Palestinian Authority Ministers have decided to illegally raise their salaries by $2000 a month. according to leaked documents, PA President Mahmoud Abbas makes $6,000 a month, while his ministers make $5,000 a month.
the pay hike was not confirmed by the relevant authorities and instead was authorized by Abbas himself, according to the documents.
This comes at a time where Arabs living in Judea and Samaria are going through a financial crisis, with the average Arab making $20 a day.
