The Israel Police on Tuesday evening rejected claims that it warned right-wing activists who may protest the "gay pride" parade which will be held in Jerusalem next week.
"The deployment of the Israel Police to the parade is based, as it is in every event, on the intelligence picture and on the assessments of the situation. The Israel Police will continue to allow freedom of speech and protest according to the law and prevent the realization of the intentions of those who wish to violate this right and violate public order. "
