Former Mossad chief Danny Yatom said recently that annexing settlements in Judea and Samaria would bring about the collapse of the Palestinian Authority.
"Israel will have to enter the vacuum and annex the West Bank, but instead of annexing it, we have to try a diplomatic move that's dangerous. We were within reach of an agreement with the Palestinians. The problem was Arafat. Abbas is a partner, not with Netanyahu," he said on Radio 103FM.
