Haifa University will award an honorary doctorate to Dr. Sylvia Earl in recognition of her groundbreaking, inspiring work in underwater research. The title will be awarded as part of events of the 47th Board of Trustees of the University.
"Dr. Sylvia Earl is a trailblazing scientist in marine research who broke the glass ceiling and paved the way for further investigations. Her activities to preserve the marine ecosystem are inspiring," said Haifa University President Prof. Ron Rubin.
