MK Ofir Sofer (Union of Right-Wing Parties) attacked the treatment of Jonathan Pollard following the interview with Pollard published Tuesday evening on channel 12.
"It hurts my heart that dear Jew whose life was ruined when he sacrificed his life for the security of the State of Israel, despite a comfortable and good life in the United States," Sofer said.
"The state must do better to bring him to Israel as soon as possible, and he would act for that purpose with the sympathetic American administration and thus fulfill his last wish," he said.
