The Israel Electric Corporation asks the public to exercise caution when lighting bonfires on Lag BaOmer.
The company warns and emphasizes that there is a danger of burning bonfires near electrical installations located in various locations. It should be noted that placing high piles of trees and burning them under the lines of the electricity grid is particularly dangerous, for fear that fire will reach the electric wires and cause them to burn.
