As in the past, Netivei Israel will not take steps to maintain roads on the routes leading from the haredi-religious centers of Jerusalem and Bnei Brak to Meron this week, in preparation for the anniversary of the passing of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, to prevent huge traffic jams.
Nissim Peretz, CEO of Netivei Israel, made the announcement in response to a request by Member of Knesset Uri Maklev (United Torah Judaism).
