Haaretz reported that Tel Aviv University refused to allow the Far-left Hadash Party to hold a seminar to mark the 'nakba' on its campus.
The University said that the event would violate the Nakba Law which makes it illegal for state-sponsored institutions to mark Independence Day as a day of morning.
