The chairman of the Lehava anti-assimilation organization, Benzi Gopstein, responded on Tuesday to the tweet of MK Gideon Sa'ar, who blasted the public’s preoccupation with his daughter's relationship with an Arab actor.
"It’s all out of love. And no, assimilation is not a private matter. We, the people of Israel, represent a little more than a private individual. And this relationship would ruin her private life. So you should advise your beloved daughter to leave the Arab," said Gopstein.
The comment came after Sa’ar tweeted earlier, "Alona, my beloved daughter, is a private person - get out of her private life!"
