In a post on Twitter, President Reuven Rivlin condemned the stabbing of a Jewish woman in Sweden, writing:

"Again Jews in Europe find themselves in danger. The shocking stabbing today in Helsingborg, Sweden, is yet another reminder that we can not rely on memories that are becoming more and more obscure from the Holocaust period to preserve the security of the Jewish communities. Our thoughts and prayers with the injured woman, her family, and her community."
