The Ministry of Education has announced that more than 85 percent of students in grades 5 and 8 are now being tested in the English-language Meitzav (Excellence in education) exams.
The announcement comes against the backdrop of the national parental leadership's call to boycott the examination, in the wake of last year's results not being publicized on a school-by-school basis.
