The University of Haifa will award actress Gila Almagor with an honorary doctorate in recognition of her unique contribution to shaping Israeli culture.
University President Ron Robin said, "Throughout her glorious career, which has been going on for more than 60 years, Gila Almagor has contributed to Israeli culture an exceptional contribution, thanks to rare and unique acting talent and, at the same time, to an endless creativity."
