Member of Knesset Amir Peretz (Labor) told Israeli public radio, Tuesday morning, "We have reached the point where we are a marginal party in the Knesset, which needs to re-seek its place and its role."
Responding to Monday's announcement of party elections in November, Peretz said, "To go to the primaries that speak of a candidate for prime minister in four years? It does not correspond with reality." He added that Party Chairman "Avi Gabai has decided that he is completing his role, and therefore we must look for the best path for the party."
