Former Member of Knesset Yehuda Gluck called this morning to open the gates of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem's Old City to Jews as well as Muslims, following word that the holy site will be closed to Jews on Jerusalem day due to the rare overlap between the last ten days of Ramadan and the observance.
Referring to a morning-only limit on non-Muslims the rest of Ramadan during an interview by Israel Defense Forces Radio, Glick said, "It does not make sense that Muslims can go there 24/7 for a whole month and do not find the Jews for these three miserable hours."
