The opening ceremony of a base for the activation of Border Police volunteers took place Monday evening in the Binyamin Region community of Anatot-Almon, in the Border Police section of the Jerusalem envelope.
The decision to establish the base was adopted in order to increase the deployment of police patrols in the seamline communities in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria due to the security and criminal challenges that exist in these communities. This is the first such base in the Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria area, and in the coming months two more such bases will open in Giv'onim and the Jordan Valley.
