The Jewish community of Hevron reports settler leaders attended an Iftar dinner with kosher food in the Arab part of the city to mark the end of the day's Ramadan fasting. Hevron Jewish community spokesman Noam Arnon said, "Strange that today you need courage to make peace! We all remember days before Oslo, where Arabs could go anywhere in Israel, and Jews could go to any village without fear. We look forward to the day of peace without evictions and without fences!"
Hebron area personal trainer Wisam Seder said, "Someone gave me advice, that we will only start down the road to peace, when we Arabs see the 'settlers' as diamonds, and certainty not as enemies." Former terrorist Muhammad Massad said: "The only way we are going to have peace is through security, and that means getting rid of the Palestine Liberation Organization's Negotiations Affairs Department and other organizations who are corrupt, Jihadist, and are paid by forces who don't care if Jewish or Arab blood is spilled."
