Chairman Yochai Damari of the Hevron Hills Council has called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to immediately announce, with the establishment of the government, the application of sovereignty over all Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria as a basis for every plan and proposal that will come."
Responding to the report on Channel 12 News that the United States is expected to agree to the application of Israeli civil law to Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, Damari explained, "We must take advantage of the window of opportunity in the Trump administration. And after the transfer of the embassy to Jerusalem and the recognition of the Golan Heights, the time has come for sovereignty in Judea and Samaria."
