Danny Danon, Israel's ambassador at the United Nations, wrote on Twitter, Sunday, "Rashida Tlaib, your words are both grossly anti-Semitic and ignorant."
Responding to the Arab-American congresswoman's claim that her ancestors provided "safe haven" for the Jews after the Holocaust, Danon added, "You should take some time to learn the history before trying to rewrite it."
