A fire and rescue team was called on Thursday to extinguish a fire in the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem.

During the trip, the fire brigade was brutally attacked by dozens of ultra-Orthodox extremists who tried to take down the Israeli flag that was on the fire engine, a flag that was displayed on the fire engine for Independence Day.

The firefighters received blows, spitting, and curses, but succeeded in preventing the flag from being removed for a short time. However, after they continued to drive to the site of the fire, the demonstrators blocked the fire engine while they were lying on the road in front of the fire engines.
