In a post on Twitter, Foreign Affairs Minister Yisrael Katz called on the world to support the Iran sanctions, writing:
"In my speech today, at the reception for the diplomatic corps with the President of Israel on Independence Day, I made it clear that Israel's right to self-defense is not on the agenda, and I called upon the international community to support the American sanctions against Iran in order to stop its nuclear ambitions and its support for regional terrorism."
