Jason Greenblatt, United States Special Representative for International Negotiations congratulated Israel, Wednesday evening, on its 71st birthday as a modern state. Writing on Twitter, he said, "The bond between our countries is enduring and under President Donald Trump's leadership, our partnership has never been stronger!"
Greenblatt also wrote, "Enjoyed the energetic conversation at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America tonight, especially in light of last weekend's despicable rocket attacks. As I mentioned, the U.S. firmly stands with Israel & unequivocally supports its right to self-defense."
